Question 26

What else does Christ’s death redeem?

Every part of fallen creation.

Colossians 1:19–20

For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, help us to know that everything belongs to the Lord Jesus. That he died to save us and to redeem all things. Help us to do all we can to heal this broken creation, that he will one day perfectly heal. Amen.
